BWI Airport Parking: Baltimore Washington International Airport

When considering that BWI Airport is probably one of the busiest in the country it would be easy to believe that they have forgotten all about the needs of customers and lack services. However, the opposite is in fact true. When it comes to customer service and convenience there is a lot of good to say about BWI Airport. Although not all travelers are aware of the many services offered, those who are know that the staff, services and security supplied by BWI Airport parking see that it’s more than simply two white lines painted on the pavement.

Some of the many services available at Baltimore-Washington Airport offered include road and curbside maintenance including booster cables and flat tire repair, luggage assistance, twenty-four-seven shuttle services and uniformed security police patrol.

For some the number of services offered by BWI staff could be a reason to worry since many airports reflect their “free” services in their less than affordable parking rates. BWI has taken this into consideration and has worked hard to offer reasonable rates without sacrificing their reputable customer service. The rates for long-term parking are in the common price point, and competitive with both surrounding airports and public lots with shuttles.

Although the BWI Airport parking does tend to fill quickly the airport staff has covered this inconvenience as well by introducing their parking update radio station. By simply tuning in all travelers can be aware of filled and unavailable lots long before arriving at the parking lot gate. BWI also offers a free “cell phone lot” where family and friends can wait for a call from the arrivals gate and avoid parking costs all together.

When going out of town , here are some choices to use for off airport parking options:

Airport Fast Park
786 Elkridge Landing Rd.
24 Hrs

Park’n’go
790 Camp Mead Rd.
24 hrs

You will get shuttled back and forth to airport to terminal areas. It still is important to allow extra time due to traffic and unforseen circumstances. Don’t keep valuables in your car if possible. It’s an important hub for many major airlines and a very interesting place.

I was in BWI airport last week and the internet kept timing out. It could be the gate we were at. It happened to the lady next to me too and was quite frustrating. But the baltimore-wash airport is nice and people were friendly.
